Jude 1:22-23...Lead with Mercy and Love...

Be merciful to those who doubt; save others by snatching them from the fire; to others show mercy, mixed with fear—hating even the clothing stained by corrupted flesh.

Mercy seems to be a difficult concept that very few people exercise in the world today. Blame and finger pointing along with the tearing down of one’s character are the norm rather than the exception. Forgiveness seems to have exited through the back stage door never to appear again. We can help, in fact we are charged with being merciful. As brothers and sisters in Christ we can build each other up, encourage each other and exercise mercy when we are wronged. There will always be someone who will hurt our feelings, ignore us or try to set us aside. To these we must show mercy and forgiveness. We must love on them with the bountiful love God has given to us. We must be that shinning light, different than the rest, offering the hope and faith that we hold so dear. Let your light shine and share the love of Christ.
