Psalm 103:8-12...Too Big To Measure...

The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love. He will not always accuse, nor will He harbor His anger forever; He does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His love for those who fear Him; as far as the east is from the west. so far has He removed our transgressions from us.

So many of God’s promises are found in these few verses. It merits that we read them over and over a few times and focus on God’s compassion, His love and how He has separated us from our shortcomings. Notice that God’s love is described in a fashion that cannot be measured (as high as the heavens) and that we are separated from our transgressions by a measure that is too great to understand as well (east from the west). God is our refuge and He is our comfort and healer. How great is our God!! He is without measure that we are able to understand and yet hears our every plea. Thank you Lord!
