Matthew 6:25-27...No Worries...
“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?
So much of our lives are spent worrying about tomorrow. What will we do, what will we wear, what will we eat? These are the questions that linger in our mind and cloud our vision. If we allow the clouds to build and the fog to settle in we lose the ability to view the creation that God has placed before us. We become micro-focused on problems and forget to enjoy the beauty that surrounds us. In just the short time that it takes to wonder about the pitfalls of tomorrow we can enjoy the splendor of God’s universe and understand just how great and marvelous and awesome is our God. The weights of this world and the constant attacks on your mind from every angle can easily throw you off track; however, if you pause, take a deep breath and look around you will quickly notice the many things that show us God’s love, His power and His creation. God is always on display for us to see if we only take the time to look and to appreciate ALL that He provides for us each and every day. Thank You Lord!
