Mark 1:35...Time Alone with God...

Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.

What a great way to start the day!! Jesus spent time alone with His Father in prayer and listening to HIs Father’s words. It was a time of fellowship and renewing. A time to talk and listen. It seems that we may be good at praying for things we need and for people that we love but how much time do we spend listening to our Heavenly Father? Reading and studying the Bible gives us insight and instruction for our daily life. This time offers us close communion with God and helps us gain wisdom and understanding for the many circumstances and trials that few face. The promise of hope and the joy of love are found throughout its pages. Take time to read and understand God’s Word and listen to what is being said. Enjoy your time of prayer and conversation with God each day...
