Proverbs 3:5-6...Best Practices...

Trust in the Lord with all your heart
    and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him,
    and he will make your paths straight.

Although we know, as Christians, that our salvation is safely guarded by God, we often forget to trust in Him with our daily routine and decisions. We tend to head off in our own direction believing and confident that we have the knowledge and strength to accomplish what we have set forth before us. This may sound like a good plan as we tumble it about in our minds, however, the best practice is always to seek the Lord in what we plan and submit to His direction which brings success. When we get out in front of God’s plan it is difficult to turn around and ask “which direct shall I go?” Instead we should keep God in front of us, both for protection from the enemy and also so that we might search and find what direction He is leading us. This Is our best advice and path for wisdom and understanding.
