Proverbs 16:3...Follow God, Lead Others...
Commit to the Lord whatever you do,
and he will establish your plans.
Day in and Day out we spend a good bit of time planning our calendars and scheduling what we will be doing tomorrow and next week. When we are planning, are we spending time praying to God that these are the right steps to be taken or are we super confident in our own abilities to make that determination? This is the pitfall that we do not often see. We are blinded by our own ego and self determination that we forget who is in control. Our best interest and the success of what we venture into are dependent on our commitment to turn everything over to God and allow Him to build the road that we should follow. It is like the old saying of having the cart before the horse. God should lead and we should follow, not the other way around. Pay attention to who is out front in the lead and your path will be a lot less rocky.
