Proverbs 16:16...Pause and Search...

How much better to get wisdom than gold,
    to get insight rather than silver!

Take a snapshot of the world today, especially here in America, and you will see people scurrying about try to snatch up every morsel of wealth instead of what really matters. We have become so busy harvesting that we have not the time or energy to slow down, visit and listen to words of wisdom. Our calendars have become so full that our communion time with God’s Word is often left on table. How much better it would be to spend time with friends and family and to gain insight into their lives. To understand and pray for them as the certain trials and unexpected woes of this life reveal themselves. How much finer than gold itself is finding wisdom in the words or actions of someone you respect or admire. Sometimes wisdom is found even in the actions or words of children as their innocence portrays the unbridled love of Jesus. Hit pause and take time to identify areas that give you insight or wisdom as they both are highly valuable. Start and keep within God’s Word where blessings abound…
