Mark 11:22-24...Faith In God...

“Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. “ I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart but believes what he says will happen, it will be done for him. Therefore, I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”

Faith in God is essential to our well being. Reliance on God’s provision and the fact that He loves us enough to sacrifice His only Son on the crossfire our sins is certainly more than we deserve. Our faith should be strong enough to believe that what we ask for in prayer will be heard and God will answer. Our tendency is to ask with a half-hearted hope and with little faith that what we have requested will be answered. The instruction here from the gospel of Mark is to boldly approach the throne of God with great faith and hope that what we say will be heard and that God will answer prayer. Faith is the key component. Have Faith in God, He is in control!!
