Philippians 2:3-4...Lead with Love...
Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.
Looking out for others first. Paul wrote about this centuries ago and yet it is still one of the most difficult concepts for man to grasp. We have a sinful nature and within that nature is looking out for ourselves first. This incorrect concept has been promoted by satan forever as well. "Look out for number one", "what’s in it for me" and "what do I get out of this”? What we choose to do and how we present ourselves to those around us should reflect the grace of God. We should consider others before ourselves and we should think about how our actions affect our friends and family. We should but often we do not. Our choices and our lives should reflect the glorious gifts that we have received form Christ. Humility, grace, mercy and love. If we lead with these we have displayed the Christ that is in each of us.
