Luke 8:51-56...Trust God's Path...
When he arrived at the house of Jairus, he did not let anyone go in with him except Peter, John and James, and the child’s father and mother. Meanwhile, all the people were wailing and mourning for her. “Stop wailing,” Jesus said. “She is not dead but asleep.”They laughed at him, knowing that she was dead. But he took her by the hand and said, “My child, get up!” Her spirit returned, and at once she stood up. Then Jesus told them to give her something to eat. Her parents were astonished.
There are moments in our lives when we wonder if our prayers are being heard because we do not see or feel the results that we expect. We are blinded a bit by the obstacles in our way that block what we can perceive. From our vantage point things look quite a bit different than what God sees and what He knows about each and every situation. Imagine of you will the road side barricades that prevent us from driving into a ditch or into a hazardous area. We may not be able to see or understand the conditions of the road ahead but we are thankful for the safety that has been provided. God has the grand view of our lives and He knows what is best for us, even though we cannot see the trouble ahead. God is in total control as shown in the scripture above, even to the point of raising the dead. Trust in God in everything you do as He will guide your steps according to His will.
