Luke 14:34-35...Consistency...

“Salt is good, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is of no use either for the soil or for the manure pile. It is thrown away. He who has ears to hear, let him hear.”

Each new day brings the hope of new experiences and the renewal of God’s mercies. Each day also brings the responsibility of our reputation and character. Our Christian life is not perfect by any means, however we should strive to be consistent. Our attitude and our demeanor are always on display. If we stop caring or distance ourselves from our friends and loved ones we lose the salt that helps define us. Without our knowledge there are many who view our lives and stand ready to critique our responses to life’s engagement. That being said we need to be steady in who we are, rooted in the Word of God and willing to maintain our saltiness. Our mission is to share Jesus with those who surround us and part of that is the consistent life that we lead. Be prepared to be used by God for His purpose, study his Word…
