Psalm 8:3-4...Look Up...
When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place,
what is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them?
This passage always reminds me to look up. Every morning our dog likes be taken outside for her morning ritual and usually this is before dawn while the moon and stars are still visible. It amazes me to look up and see so many stars and their arrangement in the sky. From my perspective the sky is filled with the universe of stars, moons and galaxies. There is an infinite array of God’s handiwork on display. Just viewing this array leads you to think about how great our God is and how powerful He must be to create all of this for our viewing. By the same token from the perspective of the stars were are but a spec of dust riding on this marble size planet that is so small itself in comparison with the vastness of the universe, yet God made us as well. In His image and for His pleasure. As small as we are in the universe we are significant to God! That is AMAZING!
Thank you Lord for your display of majesty in the stars and thank you for caring for me daily…
Blessings,
