Ephesians 4:30-32...Superpowers...
And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.
Forgiveness seems to be a thing of the past. Everyone wants to assign blame and then demand retribution in one form or another. Seems that everyone wants to hang a label of blame or shame on someone else and with that we find very little compassion left in this world. Kindness and compassion are superpowers that Jesus displayed on a daily basis. Along with His mercy it is at the very heart of our salvation and our faith. With that in mind it becomes our responsibility to exercise these attributes daily and show the world how to become more like Christ. If we play the blame game, or always demand that a price be paid, how will the world distinguish us as children of God? Get rid of the bad attributes listed above, bitterness, rage, slander and malice and replace them with the love of God and the tenderness that Jesus showed constantly. We should display the light that shines within us to a lost and dark world so that they may find the way to the feet of Jesus.
