Galatians 3:21-22...Faith is All You Need...

Does the Law disagree with God's promises? No, it doesn't! If any law could give life to us, we could become acceptable to God by obeying that law. But the Scriptures say that sin controls everyone, so that God's promises will be for anyone who has faith in Jesus Christ.

I think we would all agree that the Law or Commandments were given by God and are beneficial to our lives, yet we know that there is not a single person (aside from Jesus) who could abide by them without fail. We were born into sin and it is sin that controls us regardless of the Law but it is also because of this sin that Jesus came to save and it is only through faith in Him that we are able to be saved. Our faith in Jesus is our salvation. We cannot do good things or be a good person and expect that we have achieved righteousness by these actions. Rather it is simple faith and belief in Jesus that will bring forth joy and forgiveness, Faith is powerful and transformative.
