Ephesians 2:8-10...Grace...

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.  For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

"Grace, Grace, God’s Grace, Grace that is greater than all our sin.” Beautiful words of an old hymn that state the exact truth about God’s saving and marvelous grace through which we have been given forgiveness of our sins and welcomed into the family of God. No matter how hard we may have tried to be good or the many things we may have done for others throughout our lives we would never be able to earn our salvation, yet through grace and our faith in Jesus we are compelled to do good works because of our salvation. We have a purpose, a calling and a directive to do good things, things that God has prepared for us. You don’t have to look far to find the opportunities…
