Mark 8:15...It's The Little Things...

Mark 8:15

“Be careful, Jesus warned them. Watch out for the yeast of the Pharisees and that of Herod.”

Jesus warned his disciples about the little things that could cause big trouble in their lives. He likened it to yeast which is a very small portion of the ingredients in bread, yet it spreads throughout the mixture until it becomes inseparable from it. The same caution that was given to His disciples is still applicable today. There exist today the same, and many more, distractions and seemingly small evils that can creep into our lives and cause our faith to fall or our eyes to be blinded. Our faith must remain strong and our focus on the little things that can so easily cause us trouble. Take care of the little things
