Psalm 9:1-2...Praise His Name...

“I will praise You, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will tell of all Your marvelous works. I will be glad and rejoice in You; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High.”

Too often we lift up our praise half-heartedly or a the manner of routine rather than genuinely and in the moment. Part of our commitment to understanding that God is our provider and our defender requires that we give thanks and praise in everything. Whenever we are happy we should lift up praise, whenever we are sad we should lift up praise. Giving God praise and lifting our voice in song is something we should exercise often, no matter the circumstance of our life. God is larger than our circumstances and certainly able to provide all that we need in every situation. To God be all Praise, and Honor and Glory.
