Hebrews 11:1-3...Faith and Hope...

Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. This is what the ancients were commended for. By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.

Throughout the centuries many have tried to disprove that God exist. By means of science and sorcery they have sought to put aside or destroy the foundation of truth. We who have faith in God understand the truth as we believe that all things were created by Him and are under His control. Our faith in what we do not see is bolstered by what we are able to observe in God’s majesty and sealed by the assurance of our Hope in Christ Jesus. Far too many people spend time and waste resources trying to disprove our faith when in reality it takes greater energy and false hope to believe otherwise. Trust in God, have faith as it is the eternal hope and assurance for what we do not see.
