Galatians 2:19-20...Saved By Grace...
“For through the law I died to the law so that I might live for God. I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
Living under Mosaic law was tedious and difficult. Since the fall of Adam there have been temptations and opportunities that present themselves daily to wander or stray from what we know to be right and just. Under the law a sacrifice was required to cover those sins but no longer as God has provided the one and only, the final sacrifice, Jesus. No more sacrifice shall ever be required. Believing in Jesus and accepting Him as Lord and Savior, He has freed us from the bondage of sin and allowed us to live by faith, trusting and knowing that we are forgiven. God’s love is freely given to all, without reservation, by simply believing and accepting Jesus as our savior. We live by faith, knowing what is right and wrong and understanding that all men and all things were created by God. We know that we are required to love each other and treat each other kindly according to His grace and mercy. For by grace we are saved and not by any works or deeds.
