2 Corinthians 1:3-5...Kind Words...

Praise be to the God and Father our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of all compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows.

You don’t have to look very far from your own footsteps to find someone who is suffering. It could be the loss of a loved one, a troubled marriage, a wayward child or a host of many things that throw our lives slightly off course. We have all been there and likely we are all in the midst of something today. We have also felt the comfort of Christ and are witness to the peace that He brings. This incredible comfort that God has given to us is to be shared with those around us (overflowing). Make it a point to share an encouraging word and share the promise of God’s comfort with someone each day.
