Romans 8:35-36...Faithful...
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger sword? As it is written: For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.
As our preacher is fond of saying; you are either in storm of life or there is one headed your way. As it is true of storms we often don’t see them coming, even if there are warning signs or alerts. These storms are meant to throw us off track and create doubt in our minds about the love of Christ. If we are not firmly rooted and grounded in His love these attacks will be successful. God’s love and care for us are far more than we will ever be able to understand, yet we should be grounded in the fact that He gave His only Son to save us from our sin. How much easier will it be for Him to rescue us from our present trials and tribulations.
