Matthew 7:13-14...No Crowd Noise...

“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

Do you recall the slogan put forth by the United States Marines for many years, “The Few, The Proud, The Marines.” This painted the picture of only a few select individuals that would pass muster to become one of the most elite organizations of our military. Jesus painted the same picture in our scripture today,  As with most things in life there are few that make the right decision time and again. The crowd often sways the attitude and thoughts of the many and before you know it trouble has arrived. Being part of the crowd often brings sorrow, pain and regret. Keep from following the crowd, follow Jesus. Choose to be one of the few who finds the narrow gate and lean on Christ to show you the way. The reward is out of this world…
