2 Corinthians 12:9-10...I Am Weak and He Is Strong...

"But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong."

Paul experienced many trials and he was often thrown in jail to suffer for believing and preaching the gospel of Christ. He also taught and boasted about his weaknesses. These were his inability to preach the gospel everywhere he felt called and the lack of responsiveness by those to whom he shared the gospel. This weakness, he explained, allowed God’s grace to flourish, thereby preparing hearts and minds of unbelievers to hear and accept the gospel of Christ. Paul did not have the power to save, nor do we. Our task is to share about Christ, to explain about His mercy and grace and to let the world know about His lovingkindness that knows no end.
