Mark 11:24-25...Forgive, It is Vital...

Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.

Forgiveness is the central point in these verses. We tend to overlook just how important that is in our lives. If we hold a grudge against someone or simply say that we “just can’t forgive them”, then we are not conducting our lives as Jesus would have us live. Jesus stands ready to forgive everyone of everything and gave His life in order that this forgiveness would promise salvation and eternal life with Him. This should make offenses against us petty and small and also motivate us to forgive those who have injured or wronged us in the past. When we forgive we are released from the constant torture of reliving and rethinking about how we have been mistreated. Forgive as you have been forgiven, fully and completely…
