Mark 16:6...The Tomb is Empty...

“Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He Has Risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him.

The very basis of our faith is contained in this verse, “He Is Risen”. We get complacent, at times, comfortable in our daily lives and we need to be reminded that Jesus overcame death and the grave for the salvation of our souls. This is the power of God through Christ Jesus, ultimate, complete and unique. Our God is the God of the universe, of all creation. He formed us in His image and in His will. Even though we have sinned and fall short of being perfect, or even good, He has provided a path to salvation and to eternal life that we do not deserve nor may we earn. God alone has provided all that need. We serve a risen savior!
