Genesis 2:21-22...Our Need Is His Supply...

"So the Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man’s ribs and then closed up the place with flesh. Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man.”

There are times when God removes things from our lives. We may wonder about the purpose or even question the need, however we should always look at what was returned in the end. God took from Adam a rib and returned to him a woman! God’s purpose and end results are always far better than we can imagine or dream. This account of the creation of man and woman should remind us that God constantly provided for our needs. He is supreme and knows our needs long before we are aware. He alone is the source of our provision. That, and so much more are why we owe to Him all of our honor and praise.
