Romans 8:28-30...He is in control...

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose. For those God fore-knew He also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of His Son that He might be the first-born among many brothers. And those He predestined, He also called; those He called, He also justified; those He justified, He also glorified.”

For all of eternity man has been hard at work trying to become the master of his own destiny. Such a selfish and arrogant attitude is this. If we were able to see all that goes on in the world, now, in the future and in the past, all at once, we might be able to catch a glimpse of how God is in control of it all. Instead we need to rest in the comfort that God is in charge, that He loves us so much that He sent His Son to die for our sins and that He is always working within us. Working for His Kingdom and for our good. Once we have a grasp on this concept and are able to rely on the hope and faith that is imparted to us, we are truly free to worship Him in everything that we do. Know today that God is in control, rest easy in His comfort and grace.
