Psalm 59:17...He is always there...

“You are my strength, I sing praise to you; you, God, are my fortress, my God on whom I can rely.”

Who is there for you today, who can you rely on? Friends, for the most part, when it is convenient. Family, quite often especially when it is a crisis. Consistently and always, every single time, you can rely on God. He is always there, always ready to hear your voice, always freely giving compassion and comfort. Even David, when he felt most alone, knew that God was there, that He was the strength needed to get to the next moment. Knowing the God is always there for us is cause enough for us to give, sing, shout praise to Him daily. Without this hope and anchor to rely on we would be crushed by the storms of life. Thank you Lord for being our fortress.
